How to get younger looking skin

It is possible to lose weight and keep your skin firm in the process. How to get younger looking skin is a hot topic for those who have lost weight especially. It is also possible to have a hectic training schedule and keep your skin looking younger. It is never too late to take care of your largest organ. Here are some great tips for those in need of some skin guidance:

Follow a well-rounded balanced diet

This means including all colours of the rainbow to benefit from all the vitamins and minerals your skin so desperately needs. If you nourish from the inside, the last place that normally benefits is your skin. Think of it as nourishment needs to start from the inside out.

And your skin IS your biggest organ so keep this in mind!

Follow a full body exercise routine

Either alternating with splits or push and pull etc, as long as all your muscles get some work done weekly. This will help keep the muscles fuller. Which really does help with skin tone, especially as you lose weight. The sweat also helps nourish your skin believe it or not!

Releasing toxins along the way as well is a super benefit.

Anything you can do to increase circulation is going to be your daily bread.

Skin brushing techniques are very good, as are cold showers and massages for increased circulation. Personally, I advise rebounding classes! This is the best lymph drainage there is and it is a great fun workout too. Random question but have you ever tried rebounding?

Most importantly if you are very overweight DO NOT try to lose weight too fast.

Following this rule will not only avoid rebound weight gain but it can help prevent the sagging skin. And other possible skin damage from the extremes of losing and gaining weight. How to get younger looking skin is a balance of how to not lose weight too quickly.

As an option you can also supplement with collagen.

Collagen is an absolutely vital protein in your skin. Which is neccesary for skin elasticity and general skin health and vitality.

Protect your skin if you are training outdoors!

Whether that means wearing a hat or using organic sun cream. Just use what suits your training and be mindful of your skins need for hydration and protection, as you work through your fitness goals.

The GREATEST TIP is to keep your body well hydrated day in and day out.

Drink plenty of water throughout the day, the best way will be to carry a large water bottle with you at every stage of your day. On the same note, avoid your dehydrating drinks, or rather lessen your intake of drinks such as coffee and alcohol.

Cleanse your skin properly post workout!

So many people are on the run after training but before you head out the door make sure you have taken some time to take care of your face first. Cleanse, hydrate and protect.

I hope this slightly different blog gives you the skin care tips you have been needing! It’s not too late to look after your skin ladies, or too early. How to have younger looking skin is just as much to do with good habits as losing weight or getting fit.
