Practicing Appreciation & Gratitude

This may be a little different to what you expect.

Practicing Appreciation & Gratitude. I want to touch on a few things about Saturday’s event that we can be so grateful for. And I want you to look at this as a practice to use, for just about anything, in your life. So as much as I may refer to the event, keep an open mind for how you can apply this to day to day living, for you specifically.

We often skim though life, not recognizing and appreciating what has occurred. Or what it has taken for us to be exactly where we are. It is time to level up in your life, do you know how this is done? By living in gratitude for everything that is. For finding the happy places even in the difficulty. For being aware of how fortunate you truly are.

To begin, I want you to think about how lucky you are to have a healthy and able body.

Feel an absolute overwhelming gratitude for the fact that you could take part in the Mind Booty Soul workouts. To be
able to go through the tough Barre workout, to have Mika taking you through some craziness yet fun filler moves as well as being able to feel a deep booty burn with the Fit Band! Heck I am so grateful I got to do that for you! How amazing does it feel to be able to struggle through and sweat every movement.

Just knowing that you can move your body in those ways, to take part and share those moments with old and new friends. This is something we so often ignore as a gift. I am always so truly grateful for the ability to exercise, because I know what it feels like to not be able to. I am all for practicing appreciation & gratitude for what my body is capable of.

Next up, the lady herself.

She has no clue this is coming, but I feel we need to honor her. Appreciate all that she did for us on the day and beyond! We often think entrepreneurs are just there for us to satisfy our needs, right? They offer a product or service to us that we so need. But we forget the human that is behind it all. Camella didn’t have to put this all together for us, she didn’t have to give up precious time. She didn’t need any drama and she didn’t care about the money but she did this (again) because she loves the sense of community. Fit Farm Girl truly appreciates all that we contribute to her business. How beautiful is that? Not forgetting all the innovation behind her brand!

This is getting easier now right?

Pick a couple things you love about your day and you can so find ways to appreciate it deeply. How beautiful was the weather! It started off chilly, but we enjoyed warm coffees thanks to Toadbury hall (how beautiful is that venue!) to warm up. As the day went on we seriously heated up and had some fun sunscreen paint and NPL workout boosters to keep us going.

Furthermore, appreciate what your body looks like in a sea of beautiful fit women.

Know that you are no less, and no more than the next. You are the ultimate you, and can appreciate who you are and who the lady next to you is – with richness. Appreciate that you are exactly who and what you need to be right at this moment.
