The value of Fit Friends – and creating a supportive community

Have you noticed that you do not have the right support close to home and your community?

Maybe people have shut you out a little bit in a time of big changes to your lifestyle. Not having the support when you are ready to shift your life can really make it so difficult for you. Creating a community around your health and fitness lifestyle is truly the way to make it last.

I have seen it close to home with my own clients, having friends that you know will be at a session waiting for you. Friends that have those goals and want to achieve their best selves really keeps you on track. You can chose a gym partner or someone to go on runs. What about a group of ladies to attend fitness events with? It will make a world of a difference to you achieving your goals.

They say you become most like those few people you surround yourself with.

Find yourself goal chasers who live similar lifestyles to you. Even those who do what you want to do, and who you aspire to. You will be so much closer to winning in your life.

I feel this is the year to let go of what doesn’t serve you, and that includes people.

Let go of the energy that is going to hold you back or keep you stagnant, search for a higher vibe tribe!

I love this idea and I had made it a mission of mine last year and it has carried forward into 2019. Attending fitness events on my own, chatted to wonderful ladies and was so inspired by their will to achieve. Making ‘fitness friends’ 🙂

To have no fear at expos or workshops. I know we all have similar stories, we all want to let go of our bad habits and keep going forward and upwards. Who doesn’t right? How many people attend an opportunity to learn with a negative attitude and doesn’t want to be there? Not many I can tell you.
